The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Parade and Big Tea

1st Honiton Scout Group (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) were invited to the Parade and Big Tea on Sunday 5 June.

We had just over 50 youngsters in the parade and over 100 youngsters with their parents and siblings for the big tea.

It was a lovely atmosphere and something that the youngsters will remember for a very long time.

We had cardboard castles made which we put outside of the church for everyone to see.

We decorated our tables with shakers, posters of the Scout logo and little crowns that the youngsters could decorate. The Beavers had also coloured in squares which when put together made an image of the Queen.

We were known as the noisy table because of our shakers, but it was a brilliant day and something that we will treasure.
